The Aegean Sea

Today we went hiking again at an old Byzantine tower. After that we continued hiking up the Aegean coast to a little beach where we went swimming. Everything was beautiful and the water was superb. The pictures are from our little jaunt. Needless to say things have been pretty rough over here :).

Here are a few shots of the water.

It's amazingly clear and warm.

This is a view of the back of the tower, slightly obscured by a small Orthodox chapel.

Me trying to decide whether the rope was secure enough to use to try and climb up. I decided that it wasn't and was probably going to give up.

And then Caleb started to climb up WITHOUT the rope. Cheeky little buger.

This is him successfully reaching the top. I followed him up (using the rope). There's another picture of us up there but it's not on a camera I had access to. Maybe I can put that up tomorrow.

This is a picture of the beach where we went swimming.

This is looking out onto the Aegean Sea/Mediterannean.

The three of us before we swimming. There's a few more pictures of us but I can't get a hold of them yet. Hopefully soon.
